Lac-Supérieur, Qc, 9 November 2020
Laurentian, a Quebec licensed cannabis producer, is launching two new cannabis brands: Laurentian and Tremblant Cannabis. Its dried flowers and hashish will be available first in Quebec, then in key markets across Canada. Laurentian Inc will fulfill its first order from the SQDC on December 9, 2020.
Laurentian offers the connoisseur a selection of flowers. Among the selection of strains, we find Pink Kush, Ethos Glue, and Tremblant kush. The brand stands out by its artisanal approach:
“We do things differently here. We grow in our hybrid greenhouses. The post-harvest process is done entirely by hand and in a slow fashion. We take the time to cure our flowers over two weeks. This enhances the aromas and softens the effect on the palate. These artisanal methods make a difference in the final product. ”
– James Daughters, Master Grower at Laurentian.
Tremblant Cannabis is a brand that focuses on hashish making. It will introduce its hashish, adding diversity to the category since only 3 other brands offer this product in Quebec
“It is known that the Quebec market is fond of hashish. We worked on our technique for a long time; we had a very specific result in mind. We wanted to recreate the classic taste of hashish: smooth and spicy. The texture is also very important, it must be supple and smooth, it must be malleable in heat. Since in Quebec we are limited to a maximum THC level of 30%, we had to test several blends before finding the winning formula. “
– Mathieu Lahaie, Director of R&D, Innovation and New Product Development at Tremblant cannabis
Tremblant cannabis will offer, in addition to its hashish, the Mandarin Cookies strain in the form of a dried flower.
Laurentian is a cannabis licensed producer who operates a hybrid greenhouse located on Lac Supérieur in the Laurentians, Qc. Its mission is to encourage and share Quebec’s cannabis know-how. The company has two brands in its portfolio: Laurentian and Tremblant Cannabis. Over the next year, Laurentian intends to develop its offer locally, while introducing Quebec know-how in other markets in Canada.
