Laurentian announces that it has obtained its license to cultivate and process cannabis. The Quebec producer is starting its production of recreational cannabis at the head office located in Lac-Supérieur in the Laurentians and expects to be on the provincial market in December 2020.
Laurentian will operate a hybrid greenhouse and grow several exclusive strains of cannabis. The processing facilities will be operational from the start of summer 2020.
“Obtaining our license is a milestone and now, the business will grow rapidly. We want to create a product that will meet the needs of cannabis enthusiasts and that will raise the standard of quality in the industry. We are confident that we have the team in place to achieve our ambitions.”
– Eric Brosseau, CO-Founder, and Advisor at Laurentian
Laurentian’s mission is to encourage and share Quebec’s cannabis know-how. The company will have two brands in its portfolio: Laurentian and Tremblant Cannabis.
Over the next year, Laurentian intends to develop its offer locally, while introducing Quebec know-how in other markets in Canada.
